World Cup Fever Day 2026 – 2Mc Representing Ghana
Class 2Mc had a fantastic time taking part in our school’s World Cup Fever Day 2026. Each class was given a country to represent, and after the school draw, 2Mc were excited to be representing Ghana for the day.
The day began with an opening ceremony, where the children found out more about the exciting activities planned across the school. After this, 2Mc started their morning with a brilliant game of Beat the Goalie, followed by an energetic dance session and a chance to test their aim with the inflatable target shots.
Some of the children also enjoyed a special World Cup-themed lunch, which helped to make the day feel even more exciting.
In the afternoon, the whole school came together for a fantastic Mexican Wave, which was captured on video and can be seen on the school website. 2Mc then continued their sporty afternoon by practising their football/dribbling skills before heading into the woodland area to create imaginative football stadiums using natural resources.
Throughout the day, some of the children also completed a range of World Cup-themed crafts, including Ghana flag colouring and designing an impala lily. We learned lots of fun facts about Ghana and had lots of fun learning a song We like to Ghana!
It was a wonderful day full of sport, creativity, teamwork and fun. Well done to 2Mc for representing Ghana with such enthusiasm!
