World Cup Fever Day - Belgium
Class 2CS enjoyed a fantastic celebration of World Cup Fever Day 2026!
We kicked things off with an exciting opening ceremony, where Mr Dagnall spoke to the children about the day ahead and the importance of sport, teamwork, and learning about countries from around the world.
The morning was filled with energy as pupils joined in a variety of football‑themed activities, including American street dance, beat the goalie, and inflatable target shots. A special World Cup‑inspired lunch added even more fun to the occasion!
In the afternoon, the whole school gathered for a brilliant Mexican Wave, which was filmed and can be viewed on the school website. We rounded off the day with dribbling skills practice and a creative woodland stadium‑building challenge, where children used natural materials to design imaginative football arenas.
Throughout the day, Class 2CS also learned all about Belgium, our chosen country. Working in teams, the children shared interesting facts and even learned a song celebrating Belgium!
It truly was a day bursting with creativity, teamwork, sport, and celebration.
Well done to Class 2CS for representing Belgium with such enthusiasm and pride!
