Reception Intake 2026
A big warm welcome to our new families and children.
We are really looking forward to welcoming all of our new Reception children this year and we cannot wait to get to know you and see how you will blossom and grow during your time at Bleak Hill Primary School!
This section of our website is especially for you. It will provide you with information and support on how to make your child's transition to primary school as smooth as possible.

Meet the Team Meeting
We are looking forward to meeting parents/carers during our new intake meeting. Here, you will meet the class teachers, support staff and members of the senior leadership team.
You will receive key information and see the EYFS department.

Stay and Play Sessions
We are excited to welcome the children to their new classrooms in September. However, we would love to meet you all sooner, so we have planned some ‘Stay and Play’ sessions on:
Thursday 25th June 2026 - 9.30am- 11.00am
Thursday 25th June 2026 - 1.30pm - 2.50pm
Friday 3rd July 2026 - 9.30am - 11.30am
Friday 3rd July 2026 - 1.30pm - 3.00pm
At the parents' meeting on 10.06.26, you will have the option to choose the two sessions you would like to attend.
Please plan to attend two out of the four sessions.
