World Cup Fever Day 2026 – 2A Representing the Netherlands

Class 2A had a fantastic time taking part in our school’s World Cup Fever Day 2026. Each class was given a country to represent, and after the school draw, 2A were excited to be representing the Netherlands for the day.

The day began with an opening ceremony, where the children found out more about the exciting activities planned across the school. After this, 2A started their morning with a brilliant game of Beat the Goalie, followed by an energetic dance session and a chance to test their aim with the inflatable target shots.

Some of the children also enjoyed a special World Cup-themed lunch, which helped to make the day feel even more exciting.

In the afternoon, the whole school came together for a fantastic Mexican Wave, which was captured on video and can be seen on the school website. 2A then continued their sporty afternoon by practising their football skills before heading into the woodland area to create imaginative football stadiums using natural resources.

Throughout the day, some of the children also completed a range of World Cup-themed crafts, including Netherlands flag colouring and creative letter design activities.

It was a wonderful day full of sport, creativity, teamwork and fun. Well done to 2A for representing the Netherlands with such enthusiasm!
