YR3 - Ecolibrium - 29th March 2018

Lesson: Learning Outside the Classroom

Class: Year 3 Year: 2017 - 2018

3F enjoyed a super afternoon in the school gardens today.  They started the session by identifying different types / parts of plants, before sampling them in a taste test - the sweetcorn, peas in a pod, pomegranate seeds and crisps all got a huge thumbs up!  The fresh ginger, however, didn't go down quite as well!

We then ventured to the outdoor classroom and poured a substantial amount of frog spawn into the pond - how exciting! The children thoroughly enjoyed being part of this fantastic experience, now all we need to do is await our first batch of tadpoles!
